The general purpose of the Association is to promote business activities related to occupational risk prevention and health and safety in construction.

In particular, the scope of the Association specifically includes coordination activities, encompassing:

  • Safety and health coordination during the design and execution phases (according to Royal Decree 1627/1997 and applicable regulations), in construction projects or wherever the activity is carried out, ensuring and demanding the highest levels of safety, quality, and integrity.
  • Coordination of business activities (in accordance with Article 24 of Law 31/1995 of November 8 on Occupational Risk Prevention, Royal Decree 171/2004 on the coordination of business activities, and other applicable regulations).

The Association’s scope also includes:

  • Designing, manufacturing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining collective protection systems.
  • Studying, managing, monitoring, and analyzing all issues related to occupational risk prevention, as well as health and safety in construction projects, wherever these projects are carried out.

The Association’s Objectives

The objectives of the Association are as follows:

  1. Representation, defense, and promotion of the economic, social, and professional interests of the sector in general, and of its members as a collective with shared interests.
  2. Organization and promotion of common activities and services of interest to members, including professional, economic, welfare, insurance, and similar activities.
  3. Ensuring that free competition within the sector is not disrupted by practices that violate it.
  4. Protecting members against professional intrusion.
  5. Establishing and maintaining relationships with, and potentially integrating into or collaborating with, professional organizations at the provincial, regional, national, European, or international levels that represent interests relevant to the Association or its members.
  6. Providing advice and training to members on occupational risk prevention related to the Association’s objectives.
  7. Offering advice and training to members regarding regulations governing coordination activities.
  8. Exploring the possibility of developing a Collective Bargaining Agreement for the companies that are part of the Association, contributing alongside trade unions to the defense and promotion of their economic and social interests.
  9. Acting as the institutional representative before public bodies.
  10. Performing any other activities of a similar nature that are deemed necessary or convenient or are entrusted to the Association by law.
